PROCESS TO BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR
THE GYROTONIC LEVEL 1 PROGRAM:
Training program on PULLEY TOWER equipment
- 195 hour program in 4 modules.
- 3 months to become a Gyrotonic apprentice trainer
- 1 year to become a certified GYROTONIC trainer.
- 3400€ (Official Headquarters price) + 890€ Studio Fee (studio organizational fee).
Once CERTIFIED, the trainer has access to all other course modules as well as all GYROTONIC training modules on other equipment of the method.
THE PRICE OF THE TRAINING IS OFFICIAL AND THE SAME EVERYWHERE. THE FEES ARE SET BY THE GYROTONIC HEADQUARTERS; THE STUDIO FEES, ORGANIZATIONAL STUDIO FEE, ARE SIMILAR EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD AND ARE A QUALITY GUARANTEE
GYROTONIC TRAINING PROGRAM : A LICENSE VALID 2 YEARS RENEWABLE – UPDATE WORKSHOPS
The first License is valid 3 years from the start of the Foundation course, then is renewed every two years with a continuing training “Update” course.
THE LICENSE and CONTINUING TRAINING IS:
- A GYROTONIC® and/or GYROKINESIS® license valid 2 years
- Renewal of the license with a minimum of 1 update course every two years
- Training and update courses throughout the year
GYROTONIC TRAINING COURSE
1 – GYROTONIC PRE-TRAINING LEVEL 1
Taught by a GYROTONIC® Pre Trainer or Master Trainer.
This first phase is open to all but does not allow you to teach. It allows you to buy a Pulley Tower.
To understand and integrate the method for yourself in your own body before learning to teach others.
Learn in detail the exercises of level 1 and their names.
Experience the hands on approach which will be taught during the Foundation course.
You must have completed a minimum of ten classes in order to participate.
Duration : 6 days (30 hours)
Price: 850€ + 150€ Studio Fee
(The price of the Pre-training can be higher if it is taught as a private course)
2 – GYROTONIC FOUNDATION COURSE LEVEL 1
Taught by a GYROTONIC® Master Trainer.
This is completed from 1 week to 3 months after the Pre-training course.
Learn how to build a class and progressively teach the different sequences of GYROTONIC LEVEL 1 exercises on the Pulley Tower.
Anatomy, vocabulary and underlying principles of the method.
Deeper understanding of all exercises: Dissection, technique and evolution of each exercise through their progression
Appropriate hands-on learning.
At the end of this program, if the Master Trainer esteems that you are ready to teach, you will be awarded a training certificate and you can begin teaching clients.
Duration : 12 days (72 hours)
Prix: 1500€ + 250€ Studio Fee
IMPORTANT : those people who are not ready to teach will have to redo the Foundation course or follow the recommendations of the Master Trainer to access the next phase.
GYROTONIC APPRENTICESHIP AND PRACTICE PERIOD
Give a minimum of 60 hours of classes on Pulley Tower between the FOUNDATION and CERTIFICATION over a period from six months to one year.
Complete your SUPERVISION COURSE during this period.
You can teach while being paid on your own account or in a studio of your choice.
3 – GYROTONIC SUPERVISION COURSE
Supervised by your GYROTONIC® Master Trainer.
To review the evolution of classes given and be supervised during your apprenticeship period as a trainer in the method.
Duration : 6 days (30 hours in 1 or 2 blocks of 3 days)
Cost: 700€ + 200€ Studio Fee
4 – GYROTONIC CERTIFICATION
Supervised by your GYROTONIC® Master Trainer.
Once you have succeeded your apprenticeship period, determined by your Master Trainer, and the latter gives you their authorization, you can register for the Final Certification.
Final certification is now organized in France and sessions are offered on a regular basis.
Please note : there must be six to twelve months between your Foundation and your Certification. If this period is exceeded you must request a special extension from headquarters.
Duration : 3 days of classes (18 hours)
Cost: 350€ + 190€ Studio Fee
LICENSE AND GYROTONIC UPDATE COURSE
THE LICENSE and CONTINUING TRAINING
THE LICENSE AND CONTINUING TRAINING IS :
A GYROTONIC and/or GYROKINESIS license valid two years
Renewal of the license with 1 workshop minimum every two years
Training and refresher courses throughout the year.
Price License : 100€
As a GYROTONIC® Trainer, you must do an Update course every two years.
Duration : 3 days – Prix : 350€ + 150€ Studio Fee

The training enables you to obtain the Gyrokinesis professional instructor diploma which is delivered by Gyrotonic Headquarters in the United States. In France, this diploma is not recognized as a sports or healthcare professional state certified diploma.
It is up to you to find out if your background allows you to give classes of this type professionally.
