The GYROTONIC® method is practiced in a group of no more than four people to a class. Each person has his or her own equipment, spaced a minimum of two meters apart.
It is the first method in the world to strengthen the muscles tri-dimensionally on equipment:

Respect muscle alignment and direction
The body’s muscles are not all aligned in the same direction and we do not move robotically.
The smart pulley-mounted weight system of our equipment respects the muscles’ direction of movement and range.
Here you can reproduce any movement without being limited to up/down, side/side, front/back positions.
There are no jarring stops or compression at the beginning and end of the exercises.
Movements are performed as if in water thanks to constant, fluid resistance.
All movements are synchronized with the body’s natural breathing.
The session takes place with arm movements from the spine, stretching and mobilization of legs from the abdominal area and work from the center of gravity.
We breathe, stretch, strengthen, and finish with a pleasant sense of well-being, centered in our bodies.
Personalized exercises tailored and accessible to all
Sessions take place on wooden equipment that can be adapted to individual morphology with tailored resistance.
The pulley tower is the most popular type of equipment. Most of the core exercises can be performed on the equipment in private classes or in small group classes (maximum four people).
The other secondary equipment works in an equally holistic way providing a more focused response (legs, arms, joints, abdominal core, stretching, strengthening, preparation for jumps, balance). Can be done as a complete series.
Combining all the equipment in the system enables a more targeted, personalized approach.
While the first sessions require a little bit of concentration, once you have completed this “neuro muscular reprogramming” phase, the exercise becomes really pleasant and offers complete freedom of movement, deep, more stable, more efficient training.

The GYROKINESIS® method is the most fundamental without equipment, it is practiced on a chair and on mats and combines Yoga and Barre au sol.

Self-massage, an inner yawn:
We decompress the joints and strengthen the abdominal muscles to the rhythm of our breathing.
The key is fluidity.
You do not maintain the postures like in traditional yoga, they are gently and harmoniously linked using the breath, more like a ballet.
– Chair: the session begins seated with fluid sequences: arms and the spine move in tandem encouraging self-massage.
We stretch and yawn to the rhythm of our breathing while the abdominal muscles are gently sculpted.
We explore the different possibilities of spinal movement (forward, backwards, in a spiral, on the side, in a circle, etc…) making it more flexible and strengthening the back.
– Floor-mat : the next phase is a blend of barre au sol and yoga stretches.
The psoas and hip joints are made more flexible while seeking more range of the spine in relation to the different positions of the legs.
We generally finish with more cardio-vascular work on the abdominal muscles, or standing sequences aimed at achieving ever more balance.
The GYROKINESIS® method acts on the body as a whole, the muscles and joints are unknotted, detoxified, stretched and strengthened, the internal organs are stimulated.
The goal is alignment, balance and well-being.
With each session, the movements become wider and wider and the body gradually rediscovers its physical potential. You feel centered in your body.
Focused on the movements in keeping with breathing, a kind of mindful meditation occurs, acting on the parasympathetic nervous system.
People who practice the GYROKINESIS® method feel more and more calm and physically and mentally grounded. They can explore more complex movements and approach daily life with greater flexibility and agility.
